Carnival of Illusion

Mesa Arts Center for exciting shows

About Carnival of Illusion:

Step right up and enter the world of Carnival of Illusion. A world of magic, mystery and oooh la la where you will travel with performers Roland Sarlot and Susan Eyed as they play with the line between what is possible and what is impossible. These award winning magicians are a dynamic duo of mystifying and intriguing illusions. There is a little bit of everything and a lot of up-close and personal. You might even find yourself being asked to participate, only to be left walking away, shaking your head, and mumbling to yourself, "how did they do that?" Roland and Susan bring a touch of theater to the evening, as they take you on a trip around the world. The old-world theme, costumes and international music add to the ambiance. The evening is fun, playful and invigorating, as the whole audience is included in the joke and everyone is made to feel special.

Carnival of Illusion is known for all the extra little details and a splash of panache for a truly special evening. It is a great choice for a date-night or a special occasion. Those with birthdays and anniversaries are given a shout-out, and no one is lost in the crowd as audiences are kept small and intimate. You are personally greeted as you check in and are shown to your seats, receiving a special souvenir ticket stamped with silver ink before entering. Carnival of Illusion plays at several select venues in Arizona, each somewhat unique, but all of them providing easy parking and a central location. Most shows are on Saturday night with two shows per night, so that early-birds and night-owls can both catch the show. Shows typically run from October through May of each year, and rotate between four different venues.
