Mesa Arts Center
About the Mesa Arts Center:
This $95 million dollar comprehensive arts campus is the largest in the state of Arizona. The award-winning architecture is predominantly post-modern with a wonderful array of both indoor and outdoor spaces. Of course there is plenty of theater and performing arts to be seen at the Mesa Arts Center, but it doesn’t stop there. Along with four performance venues, there are five art galleries and a plethora of workshop and classroom spaces for arts education. There are classes offered in a huge variety of disciplines including photography, theater, music, dance, etc.
There is just so much going on at the Mesa Arts Center that we can’t possibly list it all, but here are just some of their yearly highlights. In the Spring spend time at the Out to Lunch Concert Series for a little culture to spice up your mid-day sandwich. Then there is Spark! Mesa’s Festival of Creativity which happens in the month of March. Visiting in December? Come to the Mesa Arts Festival, a wonderful free event highlighting artists and their work. Of course there is a continuous list of shows with something to delight almost everyone, so don't waste any time in checking out what they have to offer. There is certainly something that will end up on your must see list.
